TATTOO STOCK
with Photography by William DeMichele
It has come to our attention that many publications are looking for professionally
taken tattoo pictures to illustrate articles, stories, books and advertising.
Photographer William DeMichele has decided, after 11 years of shooting tattoos,
to open his portfolio of over 80,000 images of tattooed men and women to
publishers, art directors, magazines, etc.
The only limitation on availability is that he will only sell usage rights
to those projects that present tattooing in a positive and/or constructive
light and does not humiliate or disgrace the model or tattoo artist. This
is why he will not use a general stock photo house, whose main criterion
is to make their commission.
This is NOT a data base or search engine for you to get ideas or find images
for your next tattoo. If you want a tattoo go to a tattoo shop. Any pro
shop can help you get together any idea you could possibly have.If you are
interested in William DeMichele's photographs please e-mail
us.

Tattoo Artist and Historian Lyle Tuttle (www.lyletuttle.com)
and Proteus Press, Inc. have decides to publish a third version of their
historic Tattoo Book of Days. This book, which
is still available, contains the birthdays, death days and important days
of those related to the world of tattooing along with interesting quotes
and facts and lots of vintage pictures. If you have any information for
us, we would like to include it in our next issue. What we need are
important dates, names and nicknames of tattoo artists or interesting tattoo
related information of today and yesterday. We also need interesting quotes
or facts of interest and photographs, especially old photographs. We do
not need photos of tattoos! Photos should be good quality scans at 300dpi
at 2x3 inches max. and as a tiff or jpeg file. (Please notes: we cannot
guarantee that photos submitted will be used. Because of space limits, information
received will be used at the discretion of the publisher. Priority is given
to tattoo artists.)
Please let us know if you have
anything for us.
